PRE-EMPLOYMENT AND PERIODIC EMPLOYEE PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS
Annual physical examination and evaluation, along with patient education, can help to ensure that your employees meet the demands of their careers over the long haul. It is also paramount to review a job candidate's physical abilities up front to see if they have any pre-existing injuries or limitations that may inhibit them from being a productive employee for you.
Keeping your work force healthy will pay you great dividends by reducing expenses and increasing productivity.
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (DOT) PHYSICALS
Midlands Occupational Medicine has newly required FMCSA Certified Medical Examiners. We perform physicals per DOT standards to keep your drivers and their cargo safe on the road. Any noted abnormalities will be reported to your employees for follow-up with their primary physician to pursue further work-up when needed.
INJURY AND ILLNESS EVALUATION, MANAGEMENT, AND FOLLOW-UP
Our goal is to keep your employees in the work force, or to return them to the work force as soon as appropriate. By having Midlands Occupational Medicine actively manage your employee injuries and illnesses early on in the process, we can greatly reduce the risk of those injuries and illnesses turning into chronic, long term, or permanent absences from your work force. This has the potential of saving you a great deal of expense in the long run.
